A. Tenure-track Faculty Positions in Robotics and Digital Communications
The Electrical and Computer Engineering department invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in (i) robotics with particular emphasis on human-robot interaction, robot learning, and formal methods for robot autonomy, and (ii) digital communications focused on future wireless networks including 5G and beyond, Internet-of-Things, and artificial intelligence for future communication networks such as massive unmanned vehicle networks. While the search is mainly focused on an Assistant Professor position, more senior candidates with exceptional records will still be considered.

B. FACULTY POSITION for Full Professor (Tenured) and Center Director
The University of California, Riverside's (UCR) Marlan and Rosemary Bourns College of Engineering (BCOE) invites applicants for a tenured Full Professor position who will serve as the Director of the BCOE Winston Chung Global Energy Center (WCGEC). WCGEC is a multi-disciplinary research center focusing on the broad area of energy and sustainability. The research activities at WCGEC are currently divided into two broad categories: Energy Devices and Materials (Area 1); and, Energy and Power Systems (Area 2).

C. Financial and Administrative Officer (FAO)
The Financial and Administrative Officer (FAO) is a critical position which provides leadership in the management of financial, personnel, student affairs, facilities, administrative and research support operations for a large academic department and Bourns College of Engineering (BCOE) Research centers which consists of the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department, the Center for Research in Intelligent Systems (CRIS), Center for Phonon Optimized Engineered Materials (POEM), Ubiquitous Communication by Light (UC-Light), Energy, Economics, and Environment (EEE), and Microelectronics Laboratory. Additionally, the FAO also provides leadership in financial and administrative support operations for 2 interdepartmental graduate programs and more than two dozen research labs within ECE which are engaged in cutting-edge research. ECE department’s faculty and grad students make up the largest portion of contributors to engineering research centers within the College. As the Financial and Administrative Officer, the incumbent provides daily management and oversight of three administrative teams (7 staff positions direct/indirect). The management functions are highly complex, encompassing teaching, extensive research and outreach components.
