About Me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Riverside. I received my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2016.

My research goal is to build real-time, embedded and cyber-physical systems that are robust, predictable and provable. In direction to this goal, my research focuses on the development and enhancement of systems abstractions, algorithms and analytical techniques for new applications and environments. Prior to joining UCR, I was a member of the GM-CMU Connected and Autonomous Driving Collaborative Research Lab, where I investigated analytical and systems techniques for the safety and predictability of next-generation automotive systems. My research contributions have been recognized with a Best Paper Award at the IEEE Real-Time Embedded Technology and Applications Symposium (RTAS) in 2014 and Best Paper Nominations at the ACM SIGBED International Conference on Embedded Software (EMSOFT) in 2016 and the ACM/IEEE International Conference on Cyber-Physical Systems (ICCPS) in 2013. I was a recipient of the Fulbright Scholarship Award.
