Ph.D. student Taeyoung Kim wins Best Poster Research Award at DAC15

CSE Ph.D. student Taeyoung Kim has won the 2015 Best Poster Award Research Award at 52in IEEE/ACM Design Automation Conference (DAC) in San Francisco, CA. This is the only award for the research among 33 posts in the Ph.D. forum in DAC15 and one of the three awards (two other awards are for the best presentation and popular choice).

 

This highly competitive and prestigious award was established this year, and the winner was selected by a three-level screening process. Taeyoung’s research work, titled “System-Level Reliability-Aware Lifetime Optimization for Embedded and Dark Silicon Systems”. This prestigious award indicates the high quality of Taeyoung's research works and strong interests of his works from the community.Taeyoung Kim works in the VLSI System and Computation Lab (VSCLab) directed by Prof. Sheldon Tan of the ECE department. The award includes a certificate (attached) and a cash prize at DAC in San Francisco.
